Intended Educational (Student) Outcomes:
1. The Spanish major demonstrates advanced conversational proficiency in the target language according to the American Council of the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) Guidelines.
2. The Spanish major demonstrates proficiency in writing Spanish by correct use of grammar, syntax, and vocabulary.
3. The Spanish major has knowledge of culture – including geography, history, arts, religion, politics, daily living, and customs of the Hispanic people.
